Wellington: New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori collected a hat-trick of awards, including New Zealand Player of the Year, at the country's annual presentation dinner on Thursday.
Vettori was a runaway winner of the major award but also picked up gongs as New Zealand's leading bowler and all-rounder after a year when he became the eighth player from any country to score more than 3,000 runs and take 300 wickets in Tests.
"Daniel has been an inspiration... he has led his side from the front," New Zealand Cricket chief executive Justin Vaughan said.
